RK3 HD

Description

Floating feet are the most common trim problem in a drysuit, because gas collects in the boots and lifts them. A negatively buoyant fin corrects that at the source instead of forcing a diver to add ankle weights. The RK3 HD is moulded from a higher density compound than the standard RK3, which makes it both stiffer and negative in fresh water. On a drysuit dive it holds the feet where the diver puts them. On a cave or wreck dive the short wide vented blade turns on the spot and backs up cleanly, which is what the design has been issued to military and public safety divers for. On a shore dive the grommet holes clip the pair to a rig with a carabiner. At 1.33kg in large it is the heaviest of the three RK fins, and that is the point. It suits a drysuit or technical diver.
