RK3 Spring Straps - Pair

Description

A spring strap is the part of a fin that ends a dive when it goes, and unlike a rubber strap it fails without warning rather than perishing visibly. Carrying a spare pair is the cheapest insurance on a dive trip. These are the stainless steel springs for the RK3, sold as a pair. On a cold water dive a spring strap goes over a thick dry boot and pulls tight without adjustment, which is why technical divers fit them. On a boat a broken strap is a five minute repair rather than a lost dive, because the custom buckle holds the spring in its optimum position and a simple push pin releases it. On a fin that has been in salt water for years it replaces springs that have started to corrode. Select the size to match the fin. It suits any RK3 owner keeping a spare or replacing worn springs.
