Aqualung Rogue BCD

Description

Off-the-peg sizing asks a diver with a long torso and narrow shoulders to accept a compromise somewhere, usually at the shoulders. The Rogue refuses the question: back, shoulders and waistband are separate assemblies joined by patent-pending ModLock connectors, each available in three sizes, which produces 27 fit combinations from one product. The connectors open with a pen or a key rather than a tool, so a component can be swapped on a boat, removed to cut packed volume, or replaced on its own years later instead of retiring the whole harness. The air cell gives 15 litres and 35 lb of lift, enough for a single cylinder in a wetsuit, and the whole assembly weighs under 2.2 kg. A webbed daisy chain borrowed from military kit gives attachment points anywhere along it, alongside stainless steel D-rings, two folding pockets, an octopus holder and a knife attachment point. It suits a diver who has never been properly fitted by a standard BCD.
