Description

A buoyancy compensator bought off the peg asks a diver with a long torso and narrow shoulders to accept a compromise somewhere. The Rogue does not, because its back, shoulder and waistband assemblies are separate parts joined by ModLock connectors, and this listing builds one from those parts: each of the three sized independently, together with the 35 lb air cell, for 27 fit combinations in total. The air cell carries 15 litres and 35 lb of lift, which covers a single cylinder in a wetsuit and stops short of what a twinset needs. ModLock connectors open with a pen or a key, so a component can be swapped on a boat rather than at a shop, and a worn part can be replaced on its own years later instead of the whole harness. The assembly weighs under 2.2 kg, which matters on a baggage allowance. It suits a diver who has been fitted properly and wants each part in its own size.
