SCUBAPRO S-TEK Pure System Package

Description

Nothing on this harness will snag a line in an overhead, which is the entire argument for the DIR approach it follows: one continuous length of webbing through the backplate, no shoulder quick-releases and no padding to compress. Fit is set by pulling webbing through the slots and leaving it there, and once fitted over a drysuit and hood it stays at that length for the life of the rig. Silicone epaulettes and guide bands are the only hardware above the plate, holding the corrugated hose where it was put. The package covers the S-TEK PURE harness, a 3D formed backplate in stainless steel or anodised aluminium, and the S-TEK 13 kilogram Donut Wing, whose doughnut shape lets air travel round instead of pooling at one end, keeping lift predictable head-down. The harness runs fixed-shoulder or in Extender mode for easier donning, on a stainless waist buckle. Two shoulder D-rings, one waist and two on the crotch strap. Thirteen kilograms is the single-cylinder size. It suits a technical diver running a DIR configuration.
