S270 SECOND STAGE

The SCUBAPRO S270 is an air-balanced second stage patterned after the S620Ti, with a compact casing and internal aerodynamics that produce very low work of breathing. It is more compact, lighter and better breathing than the S560 it replaces.

The barrel is technopolymer on a metal thread, which saves weight and gives ice crystals nothing to grab onto in extreme cold. The casing pairs a fibreglass-reinforced nylon core with a polyurethane outer layer, so it resists scratching and reduces jaw fatigue over a long dive. A dive/pre-dive switch works in thick gloves, the purge is effective, and the compact exhaust tee minimises exhalation effort while directing bubbles out of the field of view. The compact hi-flow mouthpiece is FDA-approved food-grade silicone with a large cross-section.
