Description

Anti-fog engineering is nearly always built into full-size masks, which leaves anyone with a smaller face choosing between fit and a clear lens. The Samoa removes that choice by putting Cressi's Fog Stop system onto a smaller frame. A system of membranes channels exhaled air down and away from the lenses, and a second membrane seals the eye socket so warm breath never touches the glass at all. Silicone blades across the top act as a heat exchanger, balancing the temperature between mask and water sooner, which is the other half of what causes condensation. Being built on a reduced frame, it lets women and younger snorkellers use the same system that normally only fits an adult male face. It suits a smaller-faced snorkeller whose mask fogs constantly.
