Description
Film and rigid protectors solve different problems, and the difference is worth understanding before ordering. A film resists scratching. A rigid protector also absorbs an impact, which is the damage a computer actually takes when it goes into a kit bag beside cylinders and lead rather than when it is dived. This is the rigid version for the Air Z. It clips over the face rather than adhering to it, so it comes off and goes back on, and it is replaced when it is marked rather than restored. Anyone whose computer travels loose in a bag wants the rigid one, and anyone who keeps it boxed can get away with film. It suits an Air Z that is stowed with heavy kit rather than in its own case.
