Description

What separates this from a fitness strap is where the number goes. Heart rate is not merely displayed, it is fed into the decompression calculation, alongside a patented skin temperature reading from the same transmitter. A diver finning into a Cape swell on-gasses faster than one hanging on a line, and a cold diver off-gasses more slowly than a warm one; both conditions reach the algorithm as measurements rather than as an assumption. The transmitter is lightweight and waterproof, clipping onto a soft elastic belt worn against the skin and unclipping so the belt can be rinsed and dried after a dive. Operating depth is 120 metres, and the user-replaceable CR2032 cell runs roughly 50 diving hours or one year. It pairs with the Galileo HUD, G3, G2, Luna 2.0 and A2, though not the G2 Console version, and doubles as a plain heart rate belt for swimming and gym work. It suits a diver wanting the profile matched to the effort.
