Bungee Cord

Description

Shock cord turns up all over a dive rig: a necklace for a backup regulator, loops that tuck a long hose, stage-cylinder rigging and the elastic that pulls a sidemount cylinder in close. This black Scubatech bungee comes in two diameters, and the 4 mm cord suits light jobs such as a regulator necklace or a loop to stow a backup light against the harness. The 6 mm cord is thicker and suits heavier loads such as cylinder rigging, wing bungees or a sidemount loop. It is sold by the metre, so a diver or technician can cut exactly what a job needs and seal the ends with heat-shrink or a flame. The manufacturer notes that the 6 mm colour depends on stock at the time of order. It suits a diver or workshop that rigs and repairs its own kit.
