Scubatech CPR Pocket Mask

Description

Rescue breaths through a barrier mask are taught on every rescue and first aid course, and a mask kept in the dive bag means the skill can be put to use as well as practised. This Scubatech emergency mask is a pocket resuscitation mask with a valve and an elastic head strap, packed in a bright orange hard case. On a dive boat, it belongs in the first aid kit beside the oxygen unit, where the case is easy to spot. For a dive centre running rescue courses, it gives students the same type of mask they would carry themselves. It should only be used by someone trained in CPR, and it does not replace emergency oxygen or professional medical care. Keeping the case closed and out of the sun protects the mask between uses. It suits a diver, instructor or dive operator building a proper first aid kit.
