Cylinder Band with Stainless Buckle

Description

A stainless steel buckle is a durable choice for a band that is cinched, released and cinched again at the start of every dive. This Scubatech cylinder band pairs black webbing with a stainless steel cam buckle, made to strap a single cylinder to a backplate, wing or BCD. On a backplate rig, one or two bands run through the plate slots and fix the cylinder at the right height for trim. On a rental jacket whose original band has frayed, it restores a secure cylinder mount before the next booking. The webbing should be wetted before the final tightening so it does not loosen when it gets wet on the dive. Band length and width are not published, so a quick check against the BCD's slots is worthwhile. It suits a diver or dive centre fitting or replacing a single-cylinder band.
