Cylinder Carry Strap

Description

Carrying a cylinder by its valve twists the wrist and knocks the valve against door frames and car sills, while a handle at the balance point makes the load far easier to manage. This Scubatech carry strap wraps two webbing bands around the cylinder and joins them with a grab handle along its side. At a dive centre, staff can carry filled cylinders from the compressor room to the boat two at a time, one in each hand. For a shore diver, it makes the walk from the car park to the entry point with a steel cylinder less of a strain. It is a carrying aid and is best taken off before the cylinder goes into the BCD bands. Band sizes and the cylinder range it fits are not published. It suits a diver or dive centre that carries cylinders regularly.
