Fin Buckle

Description

Plastic fin buckles take a beating from being stood on, dropped on concrete and dragged across boat decks, and when one cracks the strap has nothing to grip. This Scubatech part is a replacement black plastic buckle for open-heel fins, a two-piece quick-release design that clips together and lets the strap be tightened through it. It is worth carrying as a spare on a dive trip where a cracked buckle would otherwise end the day, keeping in a dive school's workshop drawer, and fitting to an older pair of fins that has lost one side. It works with a rubber fin strap such as the Scubatech fin strap. Check the mounting against the fin before ordering, because buckle posts differ between fin makers. It suits a diver who wants to repair an open-heel fin rather than replace it.
