Mask Box

Description

Most scratched and cracked mask lenses happen out of the water, in the bottom of a kit bag under a weight belt or a cylinder. A hard box ends that. This one from Scubatech has a rigid clear base, so the mask inside is visible at a glance, and a black lid that snaps on over it. It earns its place on a flight, where the mask rides in a suitcase between shoes and toiletries, on a crowded dive boat where kit gets stacked on the bench, and at home, where it keeps a spare mask dust-free in a cupboard. A rinsed mask should be left to dry before it goes in, which keeps the box clean and stops mould forming in the skirt. It suits a diver or snorkeller who wants a mask protected between dives.
