Mask Strap Keeper

Description

The loose tail of a mask strap flaps against the head, catches in hair and can work back through the buckle on a backward roll. This Scubatech keeper is a small plastic loop that slides onto the strap and traps the spare end flat against the band. On a dive centre's rental masks, a missing keeper is one of the most common small faults, and a spare fixes it in seconds. For a snorkeller on a beach holiday, it keeps a newly adjusted strap from slipping out of position between swims. It fits a strap of matching width, and the manufacturer does not publish the size, so a quick check against the existing strap is worthwhile. It suits a diver, snorkeller or dive centre replacing a lost strap keeper.
