Minirazor Alfa Knife

Description

Kit that stays small on a harness is kit that gets carried on every dive, and the Minirazor Alfa is sized with that in mind. It is a 170 mm knife with a pointed, double-edged blade of about 78 mm in 420 stainless steel, plain on one edge and serrated on the other. Two sheaths are offered, and the plastic holster latches shut and mounts on webbing, a tidy choice for a wing harness on repeated boat dives. The nylon pouch closes with hook-and-loop and fits a belt or BCD strap, which suits a travel kit where a softer sheath packs flatter in a bag. The handle comes in black or fluoro yellow, and the butt works as a hammer. Unlike the Beta, the Alfa keeps a sharp point for piercing and starting cuts, so it needs care near a drysuit. It suits a diver who wants a compact cutting tool that fits any BCD or harness.
