Minirazor Beta Knife

Description

A small knife on the chest is reachable with either hand, which is more than can be said for one strapped to the far calf. The Minirazor Beta is a 170 mm compact with a 77 mm double-edged blade in 420 stainless steel, plain on one side and serrated on the other. Its tip is squared off into a screwdriver, handy on a boat for nipping up a loose camera tray screw, and less likely to nick a wing than a point. On a backplate or sidemount rig, the plastic holster mounts on harness webbing and sits flat, so little can snag on it in a wreck or cavern. The butt doubles as a hammer, and with a blade this short it is a line and light net cutter rather than a tool for heavy rope. It suits a diver who wants a backup knife on the harness with a blunt, practical tip.
