Scubatech Nylon Cylinder Net

Description

Paint on a steel cylinder chips every time it is dropped into a boat rack or rolled in a car boot, and once the steel is bare, rust follows. This Scubatech net sleeve is a nylon mesh that slides over the cylinder and ties at the top, taking the scuffs instead of the paint. Sizes are matched to cylinder diameter and length: 171 mm for a 10 L cylinder, and 203 mm for a 12 L or 15 L cylinder. On a charter boat where cylinders knock together in racks all day, it cushions the contact and protects the finish. For a diver with a newly painted cylinder, it keeps it looking good for longer. Salt can collect under the mesh, so the net should come off for a fresh-water rinse and for every visual inspection and pressure test. It suits a diver or dive centre protecting the finish on steel cylinders.
