Scubatech SK 03 Snorkel

Description

Choppy water slops over the top of an open snorkel and into the mouth, which is what makes a long surface swim unpleasant. The SK 03 adds a freetop splash guard to the upper end to deflect wave spray, and a purge valve below the mouthpiece so whatever does get in drains down and blows out easily. Between the two, a flexible section lets the mouthpiece fall away when it is not in use. The combination helps on a windy boat snorkel, on the swim out from a beach entry through small surf, and for a student on an open water course who spends a lot of time at the surface. The tube comes in black, yellow or blue with a clear silicone mouthpiece. It suits a snorkeller or diver who wants a semi-dry snorkel for rougher surface conditions.
