Stainless Steel Cam Buckle 50 mm

Description

The lever buckle on a cylinder band takes a hard pull and a lot of sun every dive day, and when a plastic one cracks, stainless steel is the lasting fix. This Scubatech cam buckle is made of stainless steel and threads onto 50 mm webbing, the standard width for cylinder bands on BCDs and backplates. The lever folds down to draw the webbing tight around the cylinder, and a firm lift releases it. On a technical rig with twin bands on a single cylinder, a matching pair keeps both bands tensioned the same way. On a rental BCD with a broken plastic buckle, it swaps in without replacing the whole band. Re-threading a band through a new buckle takes patience, and the webbing should be wetted before the final tightening. It suits a diver or workshop upgrading or repairing a cylinder band.
