Tiara II Asia Fit Mask

Description

Plenty of masks are shaped around a high nose bridge and a narrow face, and on a flatter or wider face the skirt lifts at the cheeks and lets a trickle of water in all dive. Scubatech made the Asia Fit version of the Tiara II for exactly that face shape, keeping the two-window layout and black silicone skirt of the standard mask but changing the contour where it meets the face. The quickest test is to press the mask on without the strap and breathe in gently through the nose: if it stays put, the skirt is sealing. That fit earns its keep in a pool session full of mask removal drills, on a drift dive where a leaking mask is a constant distraction, and on a long snorkel over a shallow reef. Frames come in black and silver or a metallic ruby red. It meets EN 16805 and is made in Taiwan. It suits a diver whose face leaves standard masks leaking at the sides.
