Webbing 50 mm

Description

Harness webbing wears at the buckles and D-rings long before a backplate does, and rebuilding a harness starts with a length of good 50 mm tape. This Scubatech webbing is 50 mm wide and 2.2 mm thick, in black with the Scubatech name woven along it. That width matches standard backplate harnesses, weight belts and cylinder bands, so one roll covers most rigging jobs in a workshop. For a diver setting up a continuous-webbing harness, it can be cut to length and threaded through the plate, D-rings and buckle. For a dive centre, it replaces frayed weight belts and bands on rental kit. It is sold by the metre, and cut ends need sealing with heat to stop them fraying. It suits a diver or technician building or repairing harnesses, belts and bands.
