Description

A shout rarely carries across chop and wind, but a whistle blast reaches a boat crew or a buddy on the surface from much further away. This Scubatech whistle is a simple surface signalling device in a bright colour, so it is easy to find on a BCD or in a pocket when it is needed. On a drift dive that surfaces away from the boat, a few sharp blasts help the skipper turn towards the group. On a shore dive in a busy bay, it catches the attention of a buddy or a lifeguard without anyone having to leave the water. It works above the surface only, so underwater signalling needs a tank banger or a shaker. A lanyard ties it to a BCD strap or D-ring.
