Sea & Sea Housing Body Cap L

Description

A housing with its port removed leaves the o-ring groove and the camera open to sand, hair and grit, and a single fibre on that seal can be enough to let water in on the next dive. The Sea & Sea DX Housing Body Cap (L) closes the port opening on NX series housings and on DX and MDX DSLR housings whenever the port is off. That covers a swap from a macro port to a dome between dives, a housing drying overnight, and a housing travelling with its port packed separately. It is moulded from ABS, and the cap is printed with a warning that it is not waterproof, so it keeps debris and splashes out on land and is never a substitute for a port in the water. Mirrorless housings with the ML mount take a different Sea & Sea cap, and this one does not fit them. It suits a DSLR housing owner who changes ports between dives.
