Description

A strobe fixed to a rigid stay points where the stay points, which is rarely where the subject happens to be. The Sea & Sea Swivel Joint Set fits the Grip Stay S and adds movement in two directions, so a strobe or light can be swung and tilted into place instead of the whole housing being turned to suit it. On a macro subject that will not move, the light can come in low from one side to show texture. On a reef scene it can be pulled back and out to cut backscatter, and on a night dive it can be angled clear of the port. The Grip Stay S belongs to an older Sea & Sea stay system that the company has since discontinued, so this set keeps that system working rather than starting a new build, where the Sea Arm 8 range is the current route. It suits an owner of a Sea & Sea Grip Stay S.
