Sea & Sea YS-D130R PRO Package Strobe

Description

A strobe that lags behind a burst of frames or runs flat halfway through a dive costs the shot the dive was planned around, and the YS-D130R PRO Package is built to close both gaps. Its circular flash tube sits behind a dedicated reflector, so light falls evenly across the frame at 5600K and leaves a round catchlight in a subject's eye rather than a hard bar. On the supplied SB-L02 lithium-ion pack it recycles in 0.8 seconds at full power, fast enough for a hatching sequence or a manta making repeated passes, and it still runs on AA cells from the included holder. HSS mode allows shutter speeds beyond the camera's sync limit over bright sand, where the camera and trigger support it. RC mode is certified by OM Digital Solutions for OM SYSTEM bodies, and DS-TTL II covers Canon, Nikon, Sony and Panasonic set-ups. A Low Temperature Mode steadies output in water of 15 degrees C or colder. It suits a photographer building a serious strobe rig for wide angle and macro.
