SEAFLARE MINI

The Aqua Lung Seaflare Mini is a 900 lumen LED dive torch small enough to live in a buoyancy compensator pocket and be forgotten until it is wanted. Nine hundred lumens from a body this size is the whole argument for it, and it is enough to restore colour at depth rather than merely to be seen.

Water strips warm colours out of daylight within the first few metres. That is why a reef at twenty metres reads blue or green to the eye and returns to red and orange under a torch. A light is a daytime tool in South African water, not a night one alone. The Seaflare also takes silicone colour identification deflectors over the head, which tint the beam so that each diver in a night group is identifiable at a glance. The deflectors are collapsible, glow in the dark, and cut the light pollution that a group of undeflected torches creates.

The result is a compact light that does useful work on an ordinary daylight dive and identifies its owner on a night one.

Supplied as a kit with a rechargeable cell, an Aqua Lung charger with a charge display, a USB cable, a paracord wrist lanyard and four silicone colour deflectors. The larger Seaflare and Seaflare Pro Pack are the higher output versions of the same design.
