Description

On a night dive every torch beam looks the same, and telling a buddy from a stranger means swimming over to check. The Seaflare range answers that with colour ID beam deflectors: a blue, yellow, pink or glacier filter that tints the beam so each diver in a group is identifiable at distance from their light alone. On a group night dive that is a genuine safety feature rather than a novelty, because it lets a leader count a team without gathering it. The Mini is the compact torch in that range, sized to live permanently in a BCD pocket rather than being brought only when a night dive is planned, which is what makes it useful as a backup light and for looking into holes on an ordinary daytime reef dive. That answers a night dive with a group, a wreck penetration where a backup is required, and a daytime dive over a reef. It suits a diver who wants a small light carried every dive.
