Description

Stretched bungee is the usual reason a Seawing Nova gets retired early, and cord costs a fraction of a fin. This set replaces the whole heel strap assembly on a pair, cord and fittings together rather than the cord alone, so a fin grips the heel again instead of sliding off on a giant stride. The bungee is marine-grade and self-adjusting, so the fin sets its own tension with no buckle position to get wrong, and it also lets fins come off over a thick wetsuit heel without a fight on a rolling boat. Installation takes a screwdriver and happens on a kitchen table rather than at a service centre. Four sizes match the four Seawing Nova pocket sizes, S through XL, and the set is sized to the fin rather than the foot: an M pocket takes the M strap. Black is the only colour. It suits a Seawing Nova owner with tired heel straps.
