SIDEMOUNT WSX-45 20L - COMPLETE
The Apeks WSX-45 is a complete sidemount system: bladder, harness with crotch strap, D-rings, bungee and accessory butt pack. The bladder gives 200N (45 lb) of lift and is made from Armoguard, a material Apeks states is ten times more abrasion resistant than standard Cordura.
The two-piece plate adjusts to nearly any torso length, which is what makes it effectively one size. Two stainless SlideLock D-rings let the cylinder attachment point be moved during the dive as the cylinders lose gas and change trim, rather than requiring the diver to unclip and reclip. Two drop D-rings and two standard D-rings are also fitted, alongside a WTX K-style inflator with brass buttons that mounts on either side.
Non-ditchable weight capacity is 9kg (20 lb). Sidemount is a trained configuration, and a system this adjustable rewards a diver who knows what they are adjusting towards. Cylinders, regulators and valves are not included.
