Signal Buoy

Description

A spearfisher diving alone has to bring everything with them and has nowhere to put it, which is how guns end up towed loose and spare spears get lost. This float carries the lot. At 80 by 30 by 15 cm it takes three guns and two spare spears in a bottom compartment fitted with adjustable velcro straps and elastic rings, with multipurpose pockets and a large expanding container on top for bigger items and spares, plus a mesh bag on adjustable elastic straps. Construction is two casings: an abrasion-resistant outer skin protecting two white inflatable chambers inside, kept separate for fail-safe buoyancy and reached through a central zip. A mesh cover makes the bottom abrasion-proof and drains, so the float stays light rather than filling with water. The shape gives minimal drag. A casing in the front centre takes the flag pole required by regulations. It suits a solo spearfisher carrying guns, spears and gear.
