Big Blue Single-Arm Curved Mounting Tray

Description

The curve is the point. A flat tray puts the light mount level with the camera, which is fine until the light ends up in the corner of a wide frame or throwing its beam across the front of the port. A curved tray lifts and angles the mount away from that line, so a single light clears the field of view and lights across the subject rather than straight down the lens axis. It carries one arm rather than two, which keeps the whole rig small enough to swim easily and cheap enough to be a first purchase, and it is the right choice for macro work where one light close in does the job that two lights do at distance. Dual-arm and extended trays cover wide-angle rigs needing two lights out wide. That answers macro, a compact housing and a first lighting rig. It suits a photographer running one light on a compact camera.
