Big Blue Single-Arm Mounting Tray

Description

One light, mounted properly, beats two lights held badly. This tray does the first job: it gives a compact camera or an action camera a rigid base with a single arm mount, so a torch that was previously carried in the other hand becomes part of the rig, aimed once and left. That frees a hand, removes the shake that comes from holding a light and a camera separately, and puts the light off the lens axis where its beam does not run straight through the particles ahead of the port. It is the smallest and cheapest way into a proper lighting rig, and a second light means a different tray rather than an adapter. Dual-arm, curved and extended trays cover the rest of the range. That answers a first rig, a compact housing and a diver tired of holding a torch. It suits a photographer mounting one light on a small camera.
