Big Blue SNOOT55 Adapter for the VL6000P

Description

A six thousand lumen video head lights a whole scene, which is the point of it and also the problem the moment a macro subject is in front of the camera. Everything is lit, so nothing stands out. A snoot throws most of that output away deliberately, funnelling what is left into a small controlled circle that puts the subject in light and the background in black. This adapter is sized for the VL6000P front and clamps over the head, with the diameter of the lit circle set by how close the light is worked rather than by a setting. The advantage over carrying a second light is obvious once the boat bag is packed: one head, two jobs, changed over between subjects. Other snoots in the range fit the handheld torches and the CB video heads. It suits a photographer running macro stills from a VL6000P.
