Description

New divers and cold-water operators need more lift than a small jacket usually offers, and rental fleets need it in a size that a small student can still wear. The Solid Plus is built around that size-to-lift ratio, and adds integrated weights to the rental-grade Solid so a student is not sent out with a separate belt to manage. Construction is the same 500-denier Cordura exterior over 420-denier nylon, chosen for chlorine pools and daily use. The lightweight backplate carries an integrated handle for lifting a set-up rig, shoulder straps adjust on 50 mm buckles, and the chest strap holds an emergency whistle. The waist strap is independent of the air cell, so a fully inflated jacket does not restrict the wearer. A highly visible coloured back pad guards against first-stage abrasion and helps an instructor spot a student, and the size is printed on the right shoulder strap for stock control. A rubber grip and valve strap hold the cylinder. It suits a dive centre running a weight-integrated rental fleet.
