Yacht Braid 8 mm per Metre

Description

Sheets, halyards and dock lines work hardest where hands meet them, and braided polyester is the usual answer on sailing boats because it handles well and holds its strength in the sun. Southern Ropes Yacht Braid in 8 mm is a polyester braid in white with a green marker, sold by the metre so a single sheet or a full set of lines can be cut to the exact length needed. Southern Ropes builds its polyester yacht braids for sheets, halyards, control lines, outhauls and reefing lines, and its range carries high resistance to UV. Off the yacht it makes a comfortable mooring or bow line for a small dive boat or tender, or a grab line along a RIB console. The green marker makes one line easy to pick out from another in a busy cockpit. It is sold per metre: the price shown is for one metre, and the quantity ordered is the number of metres. It suits sailors, dinghy owners and skippers who rig their own lines.
