Space Theme with Rocket on Black Silicone Swim Cap

Description

Latex is what most cheap swim caps are made from, and latex splits at the seam within a season and provokes a reaction in a fair number of swimmers. This one is fully silicone, printed with an astronaut, a rocket and a starfield on black. A reinforced band runs around the opening, which is where the strain lands when a cap is pulled on and where the split usually starts. The material is non-toxic and non-allergenic, and the elasticity is set high enough that the cap conforms to the head rather than gripping in one place and lifting in another. Silicone also slides over hair instead of dragging on it, which is what makes it bearable to pull on twice a day with long hair underneath. The result is a cap that goes on without a fight, keeps hair clear of the face and cuts drag. It suits juniors and adults on a standard head size.
