SPORT DIVER PRO 2500 SET

The SportDiver Pro 2500 Set turns a smartphone into a proper underwater camera rig, pairing SeaLife's SportDiver housing with the 2500-lumen Sea Dragon photo-video light for divers who want better results than an action camera without the cost or complexity of a full mirrorless setup.

The housing itself is depth-rated to 130 feet (40 metres) and built from polycarbonate, stainless steel, aluminium, and optical-grade glass, holding up against the pressure and knocks of regular dive use. A large shutter lever and physical rear control buttons mean you're not fumbling with a touchscreen through thick gloves, and Bluetooth Low Energy connects the housing to the free SportDiver app automatically once you're in the water. Dual leak alarms, an internal moisture sensor plus a vacuum pressure alarm, flag a compromised seal before it becomes a flooded phone, which is the gap most smartphone housings leave open.

The Sea Dragon 2500F light is the other half of the equation: 2500 lumens through a 120-degree beam on land (roughly 90 degrees underwater), with a 90 CRI rating that renders colour closer to how it actually looks rather than the flat blue-green cast unlit reef shots tend to produce. A removable colour-correction filter handles ambient-light shots when you don't need the full lumen output.

Set includes the SportDiver housing, Sea Dragon 2500F light head, Flex-Connect tray and grip, rechargeable battery with charger, GoPro adapter, spare O-rings, and case.

Whether it's a reef dive where natural colour matters or a night dive where you need the light doing double duty as illumination and fill, the set is built to get a smartphone doing work usually reserved for dedicated underwater cameras.
