Description

A diver moving from an iPhone to a Galaxy Ultra keeps this housing, which is not true of a case cut for a single handset. It is the widest of the three, rated to 40 metres, taking the iPhone 8 and later and larger Android devices including the Samsung Galaxy Ultra series, so one housing covers a household of different phones. Construction is premium polycarbonate with stainless steel, aluminium and optical-grade glass; glass rather than acrylic over the lens is what preserves sharpness at the edge of the frame, which is where a cheaper port shows its limits. Control is by physical buttons and the SeaLife app over Bluetooth, since a touchscreen cannot be worked through a housing. The width that makes the compatibility possible also rules out the standard tray, so a two-light build has to be planned around the Flex-Connect Ultra Dual Tray from the start. The iPhone 17 Pro Max needs this housing rather than the others. It suits a diver housing a large phone.
