Aqualung Small Squeeze Blunt Tip Blade

Description

The Big Squeeze is more knife than most recreational divers will ever use, and a micro knife is not enough blade to saw through a thick rope. The standard Squeeze sits between the two, and for a diver carrying a knife purely as safety equipment it is usually the right size: big enough to work with in gloves, small enough not to dominate a BCD. This one carries the blunt tip, which cannot puncture a drysuit, a buoyancy cell or a buddy while a line is being cut close to the body. The sheath uses the same squeeze-to-release grip as the rest of the family, deliberate enough that it will not unsheath on an entry. It mounts to a BCD through grommets or to a belt through a locking clip. Aqua Lung do not publish a blade length for this size, so none is quoted. It suits a recreational diver carrying a knife against entanglement.
