Apeks Stage 3 Pack ATX DIN + ATX Octopus

Description

Buying a regulator and then finding the budget gone before the octopus is the usual way a first rig gets assembled badly. This pack settles both at once: the ATX regulator on the DS4 first stage, and the ATX octopus that shares its internals. Both stages are fully balanced, so neither gets harder to breathe as the cylinder empties. On a temperate shore dive the sealed and over balanced DS4 holds performance at depth. On a cold water quarry dive the dry chamber keeps water off the main spring. On an out of gas ascent the receiver gets a proper ATX breathe from a high visibility yellow octopus rather than a stripped down backup. The Comfobite mouthpiece is fitted on both stages. It suits a diver buying a complete first rig in one go, and the AT pack is the warm water equivalent.
