Steel Coiled Lanyard, 2 Clips

Description

A camera or torch dropped on a dive tends to stay dropped unless something is keeping it attached, and the Steel Coiled Lanyard with 2 Clips does that job with a clip at each end. The coil expands to 1.1 m, so the gear stays connected while there is room to work with it, then draws back in close to the body. A squeeze on the quick-release buckle and the coil lets go, which counts when the kit has to come off in a hurry. On a photo dive it keeps a camera tethered to the harness, on a night dive it stops a backup light drifting away, and on the boat ladder it keeps a slate or pointer from going over the side. It suits a diver who wants tethered gear with a fast way out.
