Survival Snake Bite Kit

Description

A snake bite far from help leaves no time to improvise, so this kit packs a pressure immobilisation bandage set into one case. It is built around two SMART Bandages printed with markers that show when the correct tension has been reached, so the wrap can be checked under stress, plus a roll-out splint to hold the limb still while help is on the way. On a shore dive reached by a path through bush or dunes, it clips to a pack and opens flat on the sand. On a boat run to a remote site it sits in the dry box with the rest of the emergency kit. Survival designed it in Australia for snake and funnel-web spider bites, and whether a pressure bandage suits a particular southern African snake is a question for first aid training rather than a product page. The case is coated 600D polyester, water resistant and wipe clean, with MOLLE straps. It suits a diver, hiker or angler heading off the tar.
