Description

The Aqua are open-ear bone conduction headphones made for the water. Songs, podcasts and audiobooks reach the listener through the cheekbones, leaving the ear canal open, and they can be played from a phone over Bluetooth or from 32 GB of offline storage so the phone can stay on dry land. At just 35 g they are so minimal that they are forgotten on the last stroke as easily as the first. An IP68 rating means they are tested to a depth of 5 m for up to 2 hours, which suits open-water swims and pool sessions alike. Battery life is up to 10 hours of playback, and the portable powerbank boosts this to about 30 hours in total. The Aqua also measures stroke posture, head pitch angle, breath frequency and glide time, so technique can be tracked and adjusted in the Suunto app. Three buttons give simple control.
