Eon Steel USB Cable

Description

Dive logs stop being useful when they exist only on the computer, and this is the cable that gets them off it. It is Suunto's own interface lead for the EON Steel and EON Core, so it seats correctly rather than making the intermittent contact a generic USB cable tends to make on these connectors. It charges the computer and moves logs into the Suunto app or DM5, which is where a dive count for a course application or an instructor sign-off actually comes from. It is also how firmware updates reach the unit, and those have carried real algorithm and display changes rather than cosmetic ones. A second one in the travel bag removes the most common reason a trip ends with a computer that has stopped logging. It suits an EON Steel or EON Core owner replacing a lost or failing cable.
