Suunto Tandem Clinometer and Compass

Description

Some jobs need a bearing and a slope angle in one reading, and the Tandem combines both in a single hand-held instrument. It is used around the world by antenna installers, surveyors, engineers, miners and architects. The clinometer reads slope in degrees and per cent with an accuracy of a quarter of a degree, and the compass reads azimuth with an accuracy of a third of a degree, both with 0.5 degree graduations. Optical reading of the card gives higher accuracy, each side has an adjustable diopter, and the capsules are liquid-filled with sapphire bearings for stable operation. Threads allow tripod mounting. The anodised light-alloy housing measures 126 x 76 x 15 mm and weighs 177 g. It is made in Finland with a two-year warranty. It suits professional and technical use rather than recreational navigation.
