Suunto Tank Pod

Description

Air integration removes the reach for a pressure gauge, and on a current Suunto computer the Tank POD is the part that makes it happen. It sends cylinder pressure to a paired computer, pairs by proximity with no codes to enter, and arrives cleaned for oxygen service so it can go straight onto a nitrox or stage cylinder. Fitment is worth checking carefully, because Suunto run two incompatible systems: the POD works with the Nautic, Nautic S, Ocean, D5, EON Core, EON Steel and EON Steel Black, while the D9, DX, D4i, D6i, Vyper and Vytec range take the older Wireless Tank Pressure Transmitter instead. One POD is needed per cylinder monitored, so a diver carrying a stage or a decompression bottle needs more than one. It suits a diver on a current Suunto computer going air integrated.
