Description

Older Suunto computers were air integrated long before the Tank POD existed, and this is the transmitter they use. It fits the D9, DX, D9tx, D4i, D4i Novo, D6i, D6i Novo, Vytec, Vytec DS, Vyper Novo, Vyper Air and HelO2, and it will not pair with a Nautic, Ocean, D5, EON Core or EON Steel, which take the Tank POD instead. Getting that the wrong way round is the single most common ordering mistake on Suunto air integration. A green LED confirms it is transmitting, which settles the usual doubt on the surface rather than at depth. Battery life runs around two years at a hundred dives a year, so it is a service-interval item rather than a per-trip worry, and it mounts to a high-pressure port on the first stage. It suits an owner of an older Suunto keeping a working computer air integrated.
