Description
A transmitter spends its life threaded into a high pressure port and its seals are the only thing between 200 bar and the electronics inside, which is why they are replaced on a schedule rather than when they fail. This kit carries the parts for one service. On an annual regulator service the transmitter is done at the same time and goes back on the bench sealed rather than nursed. On a busy season of two hundred dives the seals see more cycles than most divers realise. Before a remote trip where a leaking transmitter means diving on a gauge for a fortnight, a fresh service is the cheap insurance. It covers the Swift and Swift GPS.
