Swift Transmitter

Description

Older wireless transmitters could not be trusted in a group, because two or three on the same boat interfered with each other and a diver ended up watching a dropout instead of a pressure reading. The Swift fixes that with an active collision avoidance system and a randomised transmit interval, so a whole team can run them side by side. On a technical dive with stage and deco cylinders it feeds up to four transmitters into one computer. On a liveaboard where several divers carry them, none of the signals fight. On a shore dive the LED confirms a transmission is going out before the diver gets wet, and flags interference if there is any. It threads into a standard 7/16 inch high pressure port with no tools, runs 300 dive hours on a user replaceable CR2, and reads to 300 bar at 0.14 bar resolution. It suits any diver on an air integrated Shearwater who wants gas on the same screen as depth, and the Swift Service Kit keeps it sealed.
